Other areas to consider are Ornos and Platys Gialos, which have some of the best hotels in Mykonos for families.
If you want a “destroyer” party, the best area in Mykonos is Paradise Beach.
Finally, if you are looking for a disconnection and LGBT atmosphere, the best gay hotels in Mykonos are Elia Beach and Mykonos Town.

Organize the trip yourself; it will always be cheaper than doing it through a travel agency. I recommend you book several months in advance. Mykonos, especially in July and August, prices tend to rise as the date approaches.
